JoAnn Elston is a mother of 4! When JoAnn started her journey in Personal Training she decided to commit to 3 days per week, walking on her own for another 2 days. Within a few short weeks, she started seeing results. JoAnn has a great attitude towards training. Another client had this to say about JoAnn: “I wish I could keep her in a drawer, and take her out each time I was having a bad day! She is a wonderful person and has the best attitude toward life!"

Before

Billie Joe Tyre's starting weight in this photo was 128 lbs and within 10 weeks, she was able to arrive at 110 lbs for one of her biggest goals, to compete in a figure competition. Her current weight stays between 120 and 126. When her body compostion was measured, she started at 22% and came down to 10% for this event. Billie Jo is the mother of two beautiful kids; her boy Coy (age 6) and her girl Charley (age 4). Billie Jo and her husband Mac own the Purple Pineapple Villa Rentals, in Tortola, USVI. She has been working out for the last 15 years since high school. In the time she has worked out with Doug, she exclaims, "Training with Doug is different every time which keeps it fun, not boring and repetitious like other work outs. He also has a great knowledge of nutrition which keeps you motivated with lots of energy while training."

After

Pam Shull – This MOM started training in the Main Beach classes about 6 months ago. Pam is now down to her “High School” weight, and fits into a size 4 pant. She is at an all time low of body fat percentage of 17.2%. At 44 years young, Pam is an incredible inspiration to all women. Recently she set a new Personal Record of 26.39 in the 5k run - second place in her age group. When asked what’s helped her become so successful at reaching her goals, Pam said; VARIETY. Doug does an amazing job challenging my muscles, balance, core, and endurance. I honestly look forward to my workout sessions – even at 6:30a.m. Doug has introduced me to exercises that are so unique and fun – no kidding – that I’ll never think of ‘exercise’ the same way again. In addition, Doug has educated me regarding nutrition which as made a huge difference in my overall success.

Roland and Charlotte Knight have been working out with Doug for over 2 years now. By introducing core strengthening movements outlined in the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s manual, Charlotte has moved out of the “osteopenia danger zone” into the healthy adult zone for bone density. Resistance training and Weight Training really do work! She will tell you it is all due to rampant Dairy Queen intake, but her trainer knows different.

Amy Gibbs – Mom of 3 and a full-time teacher at Emma Love Elementary School now fits into a size 4 pair of pants! Wow, what a challenge to moms everywhere! If you have enough determination, you can live a “clean food”, healthy life; Amy is living proof.

Leigh Ann Puca – Came to Lane Fitness with a desire to compete in a figure competition. Along with much encouragement, she dropped down from 153 lbs to 120 lbs and got onto stage to claim 2nd place in the Open Tall Class division. Undoubtedly, she was in the best shape of her life. Oh, by the way, she has 3 children! This entire body transformation only
took 14 weeks!

Ben Stephens – Mortgage Broker www.bstephensmortgage.com Ben Came to Lane Fitness with a bodyfat of 22% and lowered it to 14.9% within 4 months. Ben has been a regular at Main Beach on Monday and Wednesday mornings. I am very proud of Ben for his body fat reduction and his most recent feat of running a personal best for a 5k time of 26:13.

Owyn Porter Is an 11 year old Level 6 gymnast, who is working toward level 7. She is currently training to increase power and speed 2 days per week with Doug in addition to her 4 days of gymnastics. I am proud to announce Owyn has sent a new Personal Record on vault at 9.0. “Owyn was averaging 7.5’s all last year as a level 5 competitor. Doug has made Owyn into a completely different competitor.” - Laurie Porter (a.k.a. – Mom)

Tex Davis – Began his quest for fitness at 290 lbs. Tex owns CB Murphy Lawn service, which runs over 30 employees daily. Currently Tex has dropped his bodyweight down to 248 lbs and continues to make strides toward his goal of 225 daily. The amazing thing about Tex is that he has done all this in 9 short weeks!
